Dear all,
below command not working in RHEL5.please solve my below problem.
[root@reformedtube ~]# updatedb
-bash: updatedb: command not found

updatedb: command not found error usually means you dont have slocate package installed.
install it using yum or compile it from source
you will then be able to run updatedb and locate.

run updatedb if you have lots of files on your machine In this case updatedb execution can slow down your server. For less files locate is fastest way to find the files.
