Hi,

I am using Fedora 10. I am having a problem that I am unable to use open office

I have installed it using:

su -c "yum install openoffice.org-core.i386"

It got installed properly without any error. But, now, I am unable to see any icon for open office. I don't know, hoe to launch it.

Kapil,
Refer to my earlier post on how-to-install/upgrade with Sun Java on Fedora/CentOS/RedHat systems.

www.linuxindore.com/forum-mainmenu-115/8...aving-java-on-fedora

If you are not going to follow steps in above post. Please ignore all these errors and use "--force --nodeps" parameters along with rpm command.
