respected sir,

i am using window xp now i intend to install linux on same machine at different drive and want to use both operating system.

kindly help me in any possible manner by suggesting any good web site, tutorial, or any audio visual help .

hey,
Here is the answer to ur question
You can very well install linux after you have install windows in it .keep a free drive(could be of size 10GB) in which u wanna install and have a linux disk and set the boot option from CD and then just select language and all other stuff.
After all that is finished ,then comes partitioning ,an important one ..just go with the custom partitioning and select our drive (here u will not get the actual C,D,type format drive rather sth of sort sda,,etc)better go with the size of the partitioning.then format it and then create swap and other partitioning just by auto allocate option.
then other stuff will taken care of as being done in windows
