IEEE papers are *heavy* stuff, if your mind cannot process it try biting at something smaller.
( i am not saying this to insult you, but helping you by making you take a reality check) you may find people who do stuff like this but mostly they would be developers who would have little time to solve your queries, and i know that you will have many of them.

memory management is something that will require to be very through in both asm and algorithms , both difficult things in their own right.

having said all that : i would also like to point out that new things were done by asking questions that nobody (am not ref'ing to me! ) would answer, and dont sell yourself short ( dont underestimate yourself )

i think you need to give more thought about what you are good at and start thinking about your project in that feild..

if you want people to help you, you need to start asking correct questions like what level this project is going to be ( final year of what ? BE, ME MCA ? ) and the link to the paper itself and so on...

I agree with nobody. Rajat, if you remember, I told you same when you visited me.

Linux kernel programming is a hard nut to crack. I have no doubt about your programming capabilities. But Kernel code is written and maintain by master hackers, having many years of experience. My definition of experience is a bit different. For me experience is number of different errors one made and solved them. I have seen many gray hair, sitting on a high chairs but ZERO experience.

Please be realistic and choose some other stuff unless you have plenty of time to hack the kernel, which I am sure you don't have. Our educational system really sucks as there is a little scope for real research.

Said so, I am giving you link of this site, having thousands of open source projects. Choose one wisely, study it thoroughly and try to extend it. Don't just copy, rename and submit to your college.

sourceforge.net

Happy hacking !
